User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Excellant new edition
Robert Taub has produced a fine, beautifully edited edition of the “Pathetique” with interesting historical notes. Not only does he suggest realizations for ornaments and their placement but, unlike some other fine new editions, Taub suggests performance notes not only from editorial research but from the performers point of view, such as his discussion of how to play an Fp, a crucial element in this Sonata. In addition, the score is very easy to read and his beautiful recording (included) illuminating.
